YOU AINT GOT MONEY IN THE BANK YOU A WANKAAAA!

YOU AINT GOT MONEY IN THE BANK YOU A WANKAAAA!

Leeds. What can I say? Literally the most mental few days.

Sunday - Hifi - free entry and cheap drinks, although according to my student friends this was the most expensive night (I'd beg to differ as I only spent 20squids). This is a really cool venue if you want to avoid the really studenty atmosphere, there is a different live band every week and the music is a good mix of everything but not too much of one thing. Perfect. So we get there and meet some guys in the smoking area, immediately 'accent banter' begins and "LANDAANN" is the most overused phrase of the night. Neng (neng neng n n neng neng nenggg), Adam and some other fellow mod were such a laugh! So we head back inside and who does Dani spot? Only Darwin freakin Deez!! Yessirr we partied with Darwin Deez and his band and they were JOKES! They'd just done a gig somewhere else in Leeds, heard we were at Hifi and decided to come join us. Unfortunately they couldn't stay to the end, we were just to much for them (lol). Anyway after all the hype we went back to this guy Josh's house round the corner from Charlie's. Such a good end to the night. We just chilled in his friend Tom's room for hours, played guitar, chatted, more accent banter ("Cotch?! What the hell is a cotch?!"), listened to music, Hendrix, Elvis, The XX, Cunnylinguists, Adele with a bit of P Money and D Double. Just for jokes. Then topped it all off with some Mighty Boosh. I cannot fault that night in any single way, it was so refreshing to be two gallys hanging out with two guys we had only just met with no expectations of anything more than a 'cotch'. Eventually we left and rolled into bed at 7am. Best night. Best company. Thank you Josh and Tom from Leeds.
Darwin Deez what you sayingggg.

I LOVE your floor!!

Monday. After a pretty heavy one the night before we were feeling overly fragile. Today we were meeting up with Olivia and Sophie who we both worked with at Topshop. We headed into town around 4.30pm had a little gander at the shops, then hit Tesco for some pancake essentials and cheap microwave meals. Nice. Onto Wheatherspoons to meet the girls for a catch up then back to Dani's old halls to begin the nights drinkathon with her friends. Destination tonight was Halo - £3 entry + £1 drinks = rammo with students. Halo is a strange one, its inside a massive old church but strangely once you're inside you wouldn't know. However this could be down to the fact you can hardly move because there are so many people. I'm not gonna lie this was my least favourite night, took me about an hour to get a drink which was a joke, the music was very commercial, no really my scene (we asked for Mumford and Sons, Little Lion Man and got told it was "too slow". Sorry what?!) I then got a drink poured over my head by one of Dani's friends so that was the end of that night. Pissed off to say the least. Okay so it wasn't the most terrible night of my life, we did have banter and Dani's friends were all lovely, but if you're not a first year student then Halo is not ideal. Plus the fact the previous night had been next level so it was always going to be a hard act to follow!

RED CUPS!

Tuesday was our last day (massive cryie face!). Matilda style pancakes for breakfast drenched in maple syrup yummmm. After that we headed back into town to have a look round the vintage shops, which are very good might I add. Quick pitstop at Sainsbury's for juice and prawn crackers before walking back to Charlie's for our 74p ready meals (living it up student style dun kno). On our journey back we witnessed a group of tramps vs police. The police were restraining one of the tramps because he wouldn't remove the zoot he was smoking from his mouth! Twat or hero? I'll let you decide on that. Tonight we were headed to Favisham for Moustache night! Anyone who knows me knows I love a moustache. £4 entry - £2 drinks and an hour to queue for the toilets whaaaaaat?! (we sacked off the queue and went outside ha). This night is held in a hotel bar, its a nice place and a good vibe. Music is good mix and there are less dickheads that pour drinks on your head. Yes I'm still angry about that. Dani met a really cool guy called Rip, I'm not sure if him and his friends were students or not but they were pretty jokes. We left there and began the walk back with the obligatory stop for end of night food. On tonights menu was 'Chizza' pronounced cheet-za. Its basically chips on pizza, simple and effective like the best things in life always are. We became heros that night when we got rid of unwanted customers from the pizza shop (high fives and everything).

Le Chizza

Wednesday morning. Our last morning. Dani had to be at work at 3pm and I had a date with a duvet. Our Leeds adventure was over. We hit the road and as a final farewell we saw some shmengy joker at the side of the duel carriage way swinging a tyre round his neck. Goodbye Leeds I'll be back again soon.

WATER MARBLE NAILS

Okay so I tried out marble style nails using the nail pens, they look quite good but the colours didn't blend into each other as much as I wanted.

So I then googled marble nails and found some videos on YouTube of how to do water marble nails. It's just the same as ink on paper, but A LOT messier!

I used Models Own in shades Lilac Dream and Grace Green and Topshop Nail varnish in Geography Teacher.
I'll post a step by step guide soon when I have someone else to be the nails, it would have bee a disaster if i tried to take pictures over a bowl of water :s

DELIVERY!

I received my OTT bag along with some other goodies last week...

Fimo canes
I got these Fimo canes off the internet, they're like mini sticks of rock but obvs not made of sugar. You slice them really thin and stick them on the nails like so...

I just stuck them on with the top coat but I think they really need some nail glue so they last a bit longer. But they are so cayutee!
